Welcome foreign talents with a qualitative French training dedicated to the integration of expat’s spouses and expatriates with Absolutely French!

They have developed their own method to teach French, through activities « Learning by doing »: games, visits of Paris, cooking classes and their E-learning platform complete perfectly their courses.

Your expat's spouses and expatriates will be in good hands and could meet other expatriates as them, as Absolutely French is only dedicated to expatriates.

What are their strenghts?

Absolutely French is very well situated closed to the Arc de Triomphe, and have two beautiful Hausmann appartments where expatriates have courses.

They have received high certifications for their unique method with the « Label FLE » and « Qualiopi »!

Why it’s better than a classical school?

Because, their program has been created by a former expat spouse to feet their needs, integrate expatriates quickly and get autonomy. And the first need is to meet people, so it’s a group French training (4 to 6 persons, perfect size to speak, interact, listen easily).

Absolutely French helps expat partners about their expatriation project (define it, and start it).

Anything else?

Their community « The Club Absolutely », with more than 200 expats, who organize 2 evenings and 2 workshops by month to meet expats from the other groups, and they have a private forum for all their community online, where they share tips, and get answers to their questions instantly!

The founder of "Absolutely French", Armelle Perben, wrote a book "Managing dual career expat couples".

Why work with us

L'Oréal is one of the pioneers of support for expatriate spouses (because they have a majority of expatriate women, and male spouses expect a lot of support from them), it is one of the founding companies of the IDCN (International Dual Career Network).

L'Oréal co-constructed with the team, the Absolutely French training for the integration of spouses of impatriates, they have been thei client-partners for more than 4 years because our results are there : 97% of spouses feel more integrated after our French training.

Air Liquide, following the success of their French training for spouses, asked them to create training specifically for expatriates themselves. The team has been welcoming expatriates for a year now, with very good results.

Their training courses are fun, lively and efficient, they are based on the CEFR (of course) and "learning by doing". Learners practice what they learn, for rapid language learning. Their French courses are unique and 360° including:

  • learning the French language (main integration tool),
  • discovering French culture, history, references, customs, cultural differences, gastronomy ("Cook and Learn"),
  • understanding the environment (visits to strategic places with the "Stroll and Learn"),
  • knowledge of the French working world ("Play and Learn")
  • the implementation of an expatriation project for spouses(job search, business creation, volunteering, training...) and for expats : specific needs in French related to their job (animate a meeting in French ...)
  • meetings between impatriates, spouses of impatriates, with the "Club Absolutely"

All this in a friendly setting, where kindness, hospitality and sharing are the most important values.

Day training for expat partners - 150 hours In small group : 4 to 6 persons, For all level : beginners to C1. Before each training, each person do a level test to find the best group for her. The day courses take place 2 days by week : Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday These days depend of the spouse French level. Each training includes 3 thematics : - Play and Learn: to interact with the group, speak, listen and learn about French habits, work world... - Stroll and Learn: visits of Paris including useful places : la Mairie, la Poste... To understand French history, meet French people, speak to them, feel better in their new environment - Cook and Learn: go to the market, buy together, cook a full French menu - adapted to all diets - eat together. Important to understand French culture, and discover French gatronomy and inscription to the E-learning platform to review at home, practise and improve their French. Each training included the "Club Absolutely" membership.

Evening courses for expatriates or spouses who work or have kids at home during the day. 100 hours (possible between 50 to 150 hours). In small group : 4 to 6 persons. Week A : Wednesday evevning (Play and Learn) - 2.30 hours on site or online at 5 pm (or 6/7pm depend of the group dispoinibilty) Week B : Wednesday evening (Play and Learn) - 2.30 hours on site or online + Saturday - 10 am to 3 pm - "Stroll and Learn" in Paris or "Cook and Learn" with lunch and coffee breaks included. French on specific objectives to be able to speak and understand French collegues, during a board or any important meeting. Understand the very specific vocabulary of dental sector (could be of course another sector). Understand the position (responsabilities) of each collegue, and cultural differences. Before we evaluated the need in French, with a one hour meeting + test level. Then we proposed a 100 hours intensive program (numbers of hours could be ajusted if necessary). We organised face to face courses and virtual ones (when the CEO was abroad). During lunch time and evenings (and some saturdays). We've created specific course materials to help him understand everything. He also got access to our E-learning platform.
